company's are entitled to ask for proof of purchase at the time you leave their premises. Its is not an ownership of product issue, but an legal safeguard against fraud or theft! That's why conductors on trains ( in the UK and Europe)ask to see your ticket after you have boarded!
If Minnis really wanted to do something about illegal immigration he would do more and talk less. He talks one way when talking to Haitians and another when talking to Bahamians. Why don't they start by confiscating passports in Bahamian names from people who cannot even speak English much less pronounce the name in 'their' passport!
... I am willing to bet that the Bahamian contribution to the GDP of Jamaica (Bahamians living and studying in Jamaica) is far greater than the contributions of Jamaicans (working and liming in the Bahamas) to the Bahamian GDP.

Based on the size of the Philippine population here, that may well represent what they received in remittances from the Bahamas last week, but thanks anyway!
