It seems to me that both governments have a pretty good track record making bad deals for the Bahamian people. We need to bring back firing squads for these greedy traitorous leeches!!
The constitution sets a standard to aspire to using Christian ideals as the goal! It is a standard which can only be realized by individual choices that are consistent with those ideals. In a democracy people have a right to choose. The social ills you mention, including buggery, are a result of people choosing NOT to live by the constitutional ideals of Christian values!
This is just another way to keep blacks illiterate and uneducated for them to be more easily manipulated by those in power. medical marijuana may be of benefit to those with certain medical illnesses (cancers certain kinds of seizures) but why can 't we build up our young people instead of encouraging them to escape reality?
No sympathy here since I had to get a Schengen visa to travel to Paris and Italy as well. Paid money, had my passport sent to Jamaica and waited to get the visa. I did not complain or ask the host country to reconsider their policy! Thinking about going to Iceland and will need a visa for that too.
I suggest doing what I had to do-- pay the money, buy the visa, book your trip and then enjoy the trip!
People go to African pharmacists (drug stores) and get whatever they want without a prescription anyway! Nobody regulates anything around here until there is a problem!
European countries built their empires on exploiting and oppressing 'lesser' peoples. Through the OECD, the EU decimated our offshore banking industries to ensure they could collect more taxes from their citizens at OUR expense!
The pittances we get from the EU through funding is nothing compared to what was lost in financial services and the Bahamas gets to become another market for EU products! Do we really win at all?

"*As a matter of fact, it is likely going to be a matter that comes to legal action.*"
Only in the Bahamas would legal action have to be **considered** in a breach of contract for millions of dollars. Wonder who all are involved, Sands?
