... her stats are showing that there is now an increase in deaths among those "vaccinated" and being hospitalized with covid! Just before the election they were boasting that there were no covid deaths among the "vaccinated".
Secondly, her numbers do not reflect those who died from various complications after being given the shots, but I never expected transparency from the government!
... I could be wrong, but it seems unwise to try to pull people who are drowning into a sinking ship! It only hastens the demise of those on the ship!
The Bahamas is a sinking ship in large part because of the amount of immigrants we have absorbed into this country. It has driven down our standard of living, encouraged crime, reduce employment opportunities for Bahamians at the entry level and created a two nation system in our country. People who show no regard for the laws of a country are not likely to become law abiding after they gain illegal entry!
... even worse, we are essentially a socialist state with "democratically held elections". The over dependence on the government to address individual needs is unsustainable. We cannot continue to borrow to keep the civil service employed, give "free" healthcare, antenatal care, free vaccinations and medications for a population with a high level of non-communicable diseases without the economy imploding!
Governments responsibility is to provide an environment that allows businesses to flourish, educate people on their responsibilities and allow individuals to make their own financial choices. This current model is unsustainable!
... if we send back about 9000, some Bahamians might be able to find some jobs, there would be less crime and strain on the educational and healthcare systems and less burden on the public purse. Could be a win win for us in these challenging times!!
... why does GB have MP's and need a specific portfolio for a "Minister" for the island? This post is a waste of government funds and nothing more than a political tool. Its starting to look look more of the same!
... there's not one government facility that is crumbling now that was not crumbling under the PLP during their last term in office despite all these places having maintenance workers!
... throwing money at this problem will not solve it. Following the path of highly vaccinated countries that now have multiple challenges and have to follow the repeated booster plan is unsustainable.
We have followed the FDA model and the morgue is full, so maybe its time to start thinking outside the box and using alternative therapies as some other countries have!
... how many of the "multimillionaires" in office who understand our fiscal position, are willing to forego their salaries as they "serve" the Bahamian people in their new roles?
... we would have a lot less poverty if people had a little more education, less children, a better understanding of economic principles and more stable families within which they could gradually accumulate wealth through sensible decision making! Government handouts will not fix this!
