... educated, but lacking in common sense. Few things are as ridiculous as the concept of being paid for a wrong you did not personally suffer, from someone who did not inflict the wrong! Why not start by going after the African tribes that sold other Africans into slavery, while they practised it themselves. Bahamians always seem to embrace folly over reason!
... Bahamians always seem to pick up the worst and most idiotic of other cultures, most recently the "woke" virus" . Violence is not gender specific and **anyone** who suffers, should be able to find some help or relief? Or are we now too woke and stoopid to believe that simple piece of common sense!
"... *we’re working very closely with environmental health so that our fogging programme **can be activated** and also that we **have the ability for education to notify the residents** of what needs to be done to eliminate and reduce the spread of the Aedes aegypti mosquito,” he said before yesterday’s Cabinet meeting*."
This is the very heart of problem with out governments. Once rainy season starts, which is annually, mosquitos breed and that is when fogging should begin not AFTER rates of infections are being underreported! Education should be an ongoing exercise commensurate with the start of rainy season to enhance **prevention**, that is why we have a Department of Public Health. These jokers are always behind the eight ball!
... its really humorous when I consider that many Bahamians wanted Trump to lose the election. He did! US domestic production of oil fell, gas and transportation prices increased and now inflation is crushing people! Be careful what you wish for!
Its also interesting to consider those who believe they are 'saving the planet' by buying electric vehicles with batteries they will have to dispose of in a few years, into landfills that can't handle them. They simply haven't figured out yet that the energy they use to charge their cars is not coming from the sun or the hot air of politicians, but fossil fuels! Really funny!
… well to keep it simple, only sperm and eggs that are alive can divide to produce what will become the child in the womb. Therefore new life must begin when sperm and egg meet. Once left alone that new life will enter a new phase of life at delivery. Therefore termination of the process after egg and sperm have met must be the aborting of that new life! What say you?
... I think it is criminal that women cannot be accused of rape. How many women have had sex with under aged males or a non-consenting spouse? Did the UB study even consider that?
Gender specific crimes are discriminatory in every instance!
... our country has become a moral and social cesspool, burdened with unsustainable debt, crime, an entrenched political class and a largely uneducated population that is allergic to work! We sanctioned the large scale immigration of a population that was poor, uneducated, and broke our laws to get and stay here. We gave them and their children passports and citizenship against the tenets of the constitution. Now we have two cultures within one country, while we have lost our own identity. Bahamian culture has been reduced to conch dishes and Junkanoo!
We were better off under the Brits, at least we would have had a better educational system and more accountability in government. Blacks have traditionally been hard taskmasters that enrich themselves and close associates to the detriment of the countries they serve, so I'm not sure what we are celebrating!

... the mere charge of rape sullies a persons reputation, even if the charge is not true. The mere fact that a person accuses another of rape is not proof that it happened. In addition, any law that cannot be equally applied to men and women is inequitable. Once women can be charged with rape as well then and only then should we should proceed!
... now that we have the children of **illegal** immigrants sitting in Parliament, in positions of authority in the Dept. of Immigration, on our rbdf, rbpf, teaching in our schools and competing with actual born Bahamians for jobs, they now want to say that we have a problem with illegal immigration? If we aggressively enforced the law 50 years ago, we would not have this problem. Our nation has been compromised beyond repair and it was all for a few votes. Sad!!
