... if you had a business that had complex issues that were managed the way this team managed the pandemic, you would have fired every one of them. A failure to point out the many failings that took place means the same people will manage the next healthcare crisis with the same kind of outcome! But then again Bahamians love flowery talk and not competent actions and accountability!
... if you were even marginally inclined to understand science, you would know that the mRNA shots are NOT vaccines. Secondly, rates of covid and hospitalizations amongst the "vaccinated" is increasing in the US at this time. Studies out of Israel have shown that "unvaccinated" people who had covid have a 13x greater response to delta variant and future covid infections than those who have been "vaccinated" ( which means naturral immunity is more robust than that created by the shots) and further that natural immunity lasts at least one year (which is longer than the shots being given). This means that antibody testing is the most sensible thing to do BEFORE advising people to take a covid shot, but that is not being done. Lastly, when people do not get booster shots their risk of getting covid increases 2x. But since you are pushing "vaccinations" for a virus with a mortality of less than 2% in adults and 0.0001% in children, you would know these things already!
... even Fauci now admits to rising covid infections and hospitalizations among the "vaccinated". That will be the next wave in the Bahamas too due to a lack of never ending booster shots!
... there is no need for a national conversation on this matter. If a woman has had nonconsensual sex with a man at any time, they have been raped, since legally a woman cannot commit rape! There are already laws on the books for this. The woman can take the necessary steps to file a complaint. But how does one distinguish from an actual rape and a charge brought to spite or shame a man in a failing marriage or to gain an edge in a divorce? That is the real question!
... it is amazing, people don't want to pay for healthcare to improve the standards and quality of care, but expect miracles with limited resources during a pandemic. This is obviously a rare occurrence, which doesn't justify it, but some people still give birth at home!
... paying back the debt is not important right now, traveling to international meetings, ensuring PLP operatives "get straight" or giving unnecessary promotions in a bloated public service and continuing to flush money down the toilet with Bahamasair are far more important! Maybe now the government will consider using that VAT money for what it was intended. Its time those who manage the fiscal affairs of this country grow up!
