*“I want something stable with a pay that can actually help me to manage my daily expenses,” she said. “The cost of living is extremely high, and I can’t just go on a job paying minimum wage or a little over and stretch that between my children and me. I would want a stable job — one that would work with my schedule as a mother, because I don’t want a job that takes me away from my kids.”*

Is it just me or is this a high-minded statement? An employer pays what a position is worth to them, **not** what a persons personal expenses are! She clearly has experience making bad decisions; apart from that, what does she bring to the table??

Personally, I'm sick of people bringing children into the world to suffer!

... its hard to imagine that someone can sell drugs out of your home or yard for years and you, the homeowner, do not know! Pindling had to have either known or received something! Just commonsense at work!

...I hope it doesn't take 30 years for the truth about the gangsterism surrounding Baha Mar or Nygard to come out! Our leaders as as corrupt as they come, that's why they have to give themselves titles like Honorable, KC etc., to manufacture some "integrity"!

... I watched a documentary the other day called "The Making of a Japanese" which highlighted how students are prepared to to become a part of society from they enter primary school. Manners, discipline, cooperation with others etc. are incorporated into the educational program.

I encourage others to consider watching it, because the Japanese have a strong cultural identity and work ethic. I still don't know what a Bahamian is and I am one!

... this is old news! Decades ago I met Haitians with passports in Bahamian names they could barely pronounce with their thick accents! Bahamians are their own worst enemy!

... in this country, crime is a manifestation of social rot! A lack of proper parenting, a lack of respect for the law and authority figures, a morally undisciplined people who will look the other way for a few dollars and a corrupt political culture that makes special rules for the monied! Any "plan" that does not seek to address these issues in a very serious way is just blowing smoke!

Only people who don't police themselves need to be policed!

joeblow says...

... they say the government can't legislate morality, so who she allows to park their car in her garage is a personal responsibility issue! She never suggested that it was forced! Whatever happened to people taking responsibility for themselves?? The difference between the quality of people we see today and those of the past is parenting!!

... who brings **4 children** into their personal and private hell?? What about contraception? No males in her family to address the physical abuse? Lots of details missing!
