So will people just continue to sit on their duffs waiting for a cruise ship to come in so they can sell trinkets from China, or will they try to find ways to pool resources (with or without the governments help) and try to help themselves.

The mentality of those in GB is so radically different than Abaco !

One only need ask objectively if the "fight" against COVID-19 was a success in this country to determine if this 'honour' is deserved.

Why not give an honour to the Minister of National Security for his role in reducing crime during the pandemic too?

It is this kind of pandering that reduces the value honours should have!
