I always laugh when people mention the "high" taxes in the USA. At least there you have working traffic lights, roads without potholes, entertainment facilities, good food stores, health food stores, gyms, live concerts, jazz bars, and even people (we have very few people here). But I guess they don't have conch salad so that makes putting up with all the crap over here well worth it, eh?
We need to change our national slogan from "Forward, upward, blah blah blah..." to "We Suck and We're Proud of it".
When I was sitting on the toilet this morning, I noticed some ‘White Paper’ on a roll to my right. However, I suspect this is not the same white paper Mr. Rolle is talking about.
Would he be kind enough to tell us specifically what white paper he IS talking about, and where it can be found?
Wow, Mr Bereaux sounds like a member of the radio station's choir. He doesn't sound like he's really interested in investigating issues.
He says they want people to complain. I wonder what that involves? You probably have to give your name and other identifiable information. People aren't going to do that because we remember too well the days of ya phone gettin cut off for makin noise. Those days are this here.
Sorry, that has already been written by the WTF, IDB, and other international "lenders" who suckered us into borrowing hundreds of millions - and now we are their lapdogs. They simply have not e-mailed the pdf file to the Cabinet yet for presentation in the House.
Maybe this kind of information (about the danger of loan sharks) ALONG with all sorts of other information that could benefit the public and educate them about services available and things to be wary of could be put on the parliamentary channel instead of a STUPID repeating tape of births and deaths and church functions !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Of course, people would be upset if the channel gave this info instead of birthdays, deaths, and church functions and call their MPs and get it to be changed back. So I say let them stay stupid and get their fingers cut off by loan sharks. That's what they really want in the first place. Happy Birthday too (I'm sure it's somebody's birthday today).
