The Immigration dept. have done nothing constructive in decades regarding updating the application system and digitizing the application process.

Work, residency permits, citizenship should only take a month Max to process but they can take up to Five or more years, its ridiculous! Ask anyone who has got Citizenship lately the only way to process an application quickly is to pay 'someone' off.
