What is he on about?! Sadly the only Contempt here is from the Minister?!

The House of Assembly protects Fred Mitchell's rights, (and that is wrong)
The minister can say whatever he wants (About whoever he wants) with no fear of any repercussions and that is fundamentally wrong, particularly when you threaten, denounce and slander someone.

That's why it takes someone like Fred Smith to stand up to this injustice he is doing it for all of us!!

The people of the Bahamas must be able to speak freely, and if the government don't like what they hear they should just do what is right for the people do better, and we will happily support you!

A lot of the people hiding their money are using a proxy, they have it registered under a family member, friend or law firms secretary's name. So much of this is still to come out, I just hope the Bahamas banking industry can ride the storm.

Is there an authorised entity that follows the amount of money going through the web shops?

I really hope these webshops are not funding terrorists, that will be devastating for us all.

This also shows the importance of why people in public office must disclose their assets.

With 11 million documents to trudge through and the Bahamas listed as the third most popular tax haven used by this law firm, we will definitely see a pandora's box opening, this is going to be 'interesting'.

Oh he didn't just go after the Press?! What an idiot, that's a panicked knee jerk if ever there was! He really shouldn't go there, proves he is getting bad advice and ego is out of control but we already know that!

This is just a classic delay tactic, this is what you do when someone has got your *dangly bits in a vice (*you're already in court) A waste the court's (& the country's) resources.

The courts should throw this out, on the base that there's already a case before them with much of the same stuff and most of what he's alleging will be dealt with in that preceding case.

Are all the agents retired? Maybe if you are not getting PAID you are not in "gainful" occupation?

Maybe it will be this 'structurally secretive' Chinese insurance company Anbang who buys Baha Mar?
They won't want to talk to anyone that's for sure! Plus they're desperate to hedge against the devaluation of the renminbi. (As are many Chinese companies!)

Please no more Chinese deals!

My condolences to the dogs owners and their family.

Sub human behaviour like this is a very dangerous threat to all of us!
This crime should be investigated, the people who do this kind of thing need to be removed from society until they can behave in a civil way.

I hope they catch and prosecute the scum before they kill more animals and or humans.

She apologised this is Much more than any of the other illegally parked Government vehicle owners have done!!
However, I think maybe she should also donate to a handicapped charity?
And make it one of her missions to enlighten other government workers to the importance of handicap only parking areas.

Then maybe some good can come of this.

There should always be a fine of $350 + for parking in a handicapped zone, and if it's a Government vehicle they should be given a week of community service. (or something?)

OK time to stop this fiasco! And that is pretty easy to do- Hit them where it matters in the pocket!

To all you that fund political campaigns this is election time, they want your $$$ so Please for the future of the Bahamas do not donate any of your hard earned money to a political party that is morally corrupt and not doing the right thing for The Nation.

Then and only then can we all enjoy a safe, secure and prosperous nation for all.
