My condolences to the dogs owners and their family.
Sub human behaviour like this is a very dangerous threat to all of us! This crime should be investigated, the people who do this kind of thing need to be removed from society until they can behave in a civil way.
I hope they catch and prosecute the scum before they kill more animals and or humans.
She apologised this is Much more than any of the other illegally parked Government vehicle owners have done!! However, I think maybe she should also donate to a handicapped charity? And make it one of her missions to enlighten other government workers to the importance of handicap only parking areas.
Then maybe some good can come of this.
There should always be a fine of $350 + for parking in a handicapped zone, and if it's a Government vehicle they should be given a week of community service. (or something?)

Remember, citizenship can only be bought if we have corrupt officials willing to take a bribe.There's a long process and a lot of requirements before you should be granted citizenship. Get rid of corruption and get the FOIA up and running, then we all can hold our heads up and look in the mirror with pride.
Has he no empathy at all, just imagine if you were that poor pilot's mother and he was your son. She is in shock and heartbroken and then to be publicly maligned and insulted in the House of Assembly! We cannot allow our representatives to intimidate and speak to 'us' like this. :(
The rich will be less inclined to invest here and reluctant to donate after this debacle, that's for sure! Without 'foreigners' donating and helping with our charitable organizations I'm sure a lot will fail. We reap what we sow.

He isn't all talk, he has walked the walk, he has spent his Time and his Money ...doing more than most Bahamians. Nothing new, they do this all the time, they do not care, they have no morals, they do not know the difference between right and wrong, and even if they did they still would not care.
They should be given a ticket and publicly shamed, and fired! That's a government car so it belongs to the people, it represents the people and it is shameful.
This was on someone's Facebook page last week: Black license plate #1 is the Chief Justice, right? Here they are, parked in a disabled only spot in front of Fresh Market OFB.
Me: "you've parked in a disabled spot. Are you disabled?" Driver: "No. But it was either there or park in the middle of the road" Me: "How do you expect others to follow rules when you don't?" Driver: *walks off with a shit-eating grin*
Is it up to code with the Fire Department? I thought that was one of the main reasons for the delay in construction. They couldn't get an occupancy certificate because the Fire Department wasn't satisfied.
