I wish we had a list of all the pressing government 'issues' complied somewhere?- Every single day there seems to be a new scandal. i.e.

BAMSI scandals and all its tribulations, VAT revenue not being used for national debt, BoB What the F%#@ has been going on there, NIB- audit & outcome, BEC handover & no plan proposed, NHI where is the transparency, PMH hospital audit & outcome, Crime stats- rapes, murders etc., Immigration/human rights issues, PM & entourage oversea trips with no accountability, Contracts to cronies, Post Office missing money, Equal / women's rights, Carnival Audit and justification, COB Audit, Web shops accountability, Nygard Cay, Blackbeard's Cay Dolphins & the unenforced court order, BaHa Mar, Chinese & the 'Gift's' riot gear, Ruffins unpaid Tax, Urban Renewal money, the slow court / judicial system, L.O.I., No running water in Cat Island, Defence Force boats, BahamasAir & ZNS's cost to the nation etc. etc. etc..
Where is the Law enforcement and Accountability? There's an awful lot of money missing from the nation's pocket and zero investigations and prosecutions?

With so many ongoing issues that it's hard to keep up! (Maybe that's how they get away with it all?) The press should start a public online list somwhere, so the people and politicians can stick to the issues and possibly even resolve a couple of them?

Almost all humans 'of every hue' are innately racists. (Yes, even the ones who think they are not.) It is not that they are bad people, it's just the way we abnormal creatures have evolved.
It takes work to overcome our base instincts, anyone who says otherwise has no understanding of the human brain and evolution. And until people realize their base-instincts are in the way of real 'progress' and work at overcoming these instincts, they will stay in a racist mindset. But who gives a toss if they are a racist, really, so what? (don't be their friend) Can we now move-on?!

That all being said, the main problem here is not race, it is stupidity, plain and simple and Wells is just deflecting from the issues at hand.

For christ sake, we all need to stop getting sidelined with this crap, put our collective eog's away, get over our schoolyard bulls*^$ and move on, work together & Fix the Nation.

Who pays for this "private" discussion" six day trip to Switzerland ?!
is it Perry Christie because it is private? the Bahamian People / tax payers or the Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) officials?

If it is the government / people, we should of course also have a report on all the costs- hotel, transport, (Limos & Air) dining, who else went, why they went and a report on what was the outcome of the Private discussion.

The FNM / official opposition should also be all over this?

The Bahamian "Postal "Service" " is diabolical, it is a Joke... literally!

I tell people "please do not post anything to me ever" it will come months later if at all. Oh the MANY Christmas presents that have gone missing :(

This is what you can do in a UK post Office - http://www.postoffice.co.uk/

As well as get your groceries, newspapers, wine, pension, pay all your household bills, get benefits, pay licences and taxes and buy cards, post parcels, get insurance, lottery tickets, Phone cards, gifts, etc. All done with ONE smiling helpful old lady that knows you & your whole family, their names as well as their dogs names.

Here you get a gang of surly old ladies, (no eye contact) in slippers who can't even be bothered to Buzz The Door to let you in! Everything is done slooooowly & manually on carbon papers & Not Computers!!! What they think computers are just a phase!!????

I would fire them all, close (Trust me no one will notice) and restructure all the Post Offices.

Unfortunately things didn't go very well for the last Swiss investor and his investment of $900M.
I Really hope things turn out better for this Swiss investor, you gotta give her props she has spirit.
Also for giving the Bahamas a chance to redeem our image to potential investors.

Not a very flattering photo of the three people behind the PM, no smiles, cocked heads, hands in pockets, one appears to be asleep but it may just be bad timing, who knows!? Still why do they insist on having these awful uncomfortable posed lineups?

Anyway, bigger issue at hand- This is probably a good project for the islands, investment in the Exumas is needed, it is in-keeping with the high end Exuma visitor and 'appears to be' a low impact and sensitive development however. Why the Hell are they putting a GOLF Course on Williams Cay!? Go to Nassau, Grand Bahama or Florida for Golf, don't rape and pillage these pristine and fragile islands, once it is gone it can NEVER be put back, that is Never Ever!

There are golf courses on New Providence that are sitting derelict and empty. Just manage what you already have in the Golf department, please don't start any more.

Ralph Waldo Emerson — 'Let me never fall into the vulgar mistake of dreaming that I am persecuted whenever I am contradicted.'

Sadly our opinion is not worthy or wanted in their minds, they only think they are being persecuted every time they are contradicted.

It is all about EGO...

Has the government implemented spraying and fogging with insecticide throughout all arriving and departing airplanes and cruise ships yet?

Good article.
UK Parliament had to debate it because of the “Block Donald J Trump from UK entry" petition to the Parliament with 573,971 signatures, the subject matter was not chosen by politicians but by the public, they initiated the petition.
The debate probably was a big waste of time and UK taxpayers money, (Isn't that what most politicians do anyway) But still, they had a lively debate, it was seen by many and they all knew from the get-go that they would never Block 'The Donald' because they are not that afraid of him or his offensive diatribe, Moreover, the UK has a healthy and vibrant "Democracy" where everyone is given as much respect as possible EVEN Donald Trump.

And you can read it online, they have a transcript of all debates in parliament https://hansard.digiminster.com/commons…

This is just another case of Wag the Dog' blah, blah, blah same s%$# different day.

When are we going to start voting and judging people by their actions and DEEDS, not on their hot air and rhetoric?

LBT has DONE a lot of good things for her constituents, particularly after the hurricane, she is a dynamic and vocal opponent to the PLP, and that is how an opposition party is supposed to advocate for its people, and why they FNM stalwarts are jealous and the PLP dinosaurs are scared of her. (ALL Governments should be held accountable and always be challenged.)

Minnis may be a very nice guy but his actions show he cannot Unify the FNM. And that is why the PLP love him, they hope as long as he's leader of the FNM the PLP will have a better chance at defeating them.
