It really appears as if this "audit" is suspect at best ... from the report last week it seems like the PHA "lost" money it never spent and now an audit was done without involving the persons who are being audited for an explanation. Hmmmm...I smell a rat or gross incompetence or is it both? Please feel free to answer Mr. Bain and be specific not just say you stand behind your audit, answer the specific discrepancies.

You need to know the facts before you comment on them...there is/was no loss of forty million for the critical care block...so stop spreading your crap or back it up with facts.

I understand the Board and only the Board had the report since June...makes you wonder who leaked it and why.
I wonder what became of the original audit by Galanis and co that led to the Director being suspended...I think that matter went to court...anybody knows the outcome of that? (Tribune investigation maybe)

Did UHY actually do an audit or did they just regurgitate what was done by the PHA's internal audit team over five years ago? What was the REAL purpose of this audit? To find problems or sling mud? One would think if the Board ordered an audit they would have the balls to present it to the media at a press conference as opposed to leaking it to the media...hmmmmm...makes me wonder the motive.

Y'all need to shut the fork up and govern. What difference does it make if you have a unanimous decision in the House...y'all had that in 2002 and then the PLP yellow shirt corksookers went and capaign against it. It is the people's vote that matters...not the seven oppostion members...y'all taking us for asses.

I can see you are not involved in any church. The number of services that the church offers is valued more than any tax the goverment will ever be able to collect from them. If these churches are forced to stop their outreach to the youth and downtrodden in our communities, no amount of tax dollars would be able to address the ills that will come to the fore.

What does his brother receiving money from gambling have to do with him speaking on the issue? That is such an assified position ... do you take responsibility for the actions of your sibling? SMT.

What we need to realize and accept is that every member of the clergy and indeed the wider church is either a citizen or a resident of this country and as such has the right to speak on any topic that affects this country ... just like anyone else. Their take may be different from ours but they have the right to present it just as we all have.

While I frown on vigilante justice, it looks like to only type you can get in this town. You call the police, they don't show, you wrtie to your MP, she looks into it ... what will anybody do if you burn the piece of s#!t to the ground.

As you can see I am very sick and tired of law abiding citizens getting shafted.
