Is this the complete list of former Senators who have not declared? It looks like all FNM's ... makes one wonder if it is indeed complete. Didn't Michael Pintard just join the Senate?
Very well written. The handling of the recent situations shows that the PM is ballsless, gutless, clueless and will be legaciless. He is too busy protecting the ilegallity of his cronies that he is digging himself, his party and the country into a deep hole.
It will be interesting to see how Regina (Queen Elizabeth) responds to having a tax dodger be her representative in the commonwealth. The standards in this country have got so low that we will have to dig to reach the roof.
I am at a loss...they created 30,000 jobs, there were 30,285 unemployed...does that mean we now have 285 unemployed persons in The Bahamas????? (scratching head)
***"He also expressed concern that the government’s move to legalise some forms of gaming for Bahamians will lead to gambling addiction*******"...“**A separate responsible gaming tax should be imposed on web shops and earmarked to combat compulsive gambling**,” What sense does it make to create a gambling addiction problem and then earmark money to combat it ... this is akin to drinking poison and dependiing on the antidote to fix your stupidity. One would think that avoiding the problem in the first palce would be the prudent decision.
It is amazing how the police can say they have no proof of illegality taking place in these "web shops" yet the Chairman can stand in the House of Assembly and tell the country what is going on. Could the police really be lying to us???
So I guess he has swum the entire area around the Castaway Cay dredge site, compared the before and after photos, read the environemtnal impact assessment, reviewed the mitigation steps that may have been taken by Disney, interviewed the sea life and then compare all the relevant factors with Bimini and found them to be the exactly the same before arriving at his conclusion. Or is he just hoping we are all asses who will take HIS word for it?
