This development does not have a good history of caring for the local community, protecting the natural resources nor living up to their promises. Their development is a bit of a mess: a little casino here, a pool there, some scattered restaurants about and now a cruise ship style thing going on. All of it constantly under construction and all of it way overpriced. It doesn't make sense. The government needs to slow these guys down and figure out what's really going on and do what's best for Bimini and not their pockets. As far as Miami, better there than in Bimini.

Two things about this story stand out:
1. Government seems to be constantly rewarding people who *do not* pay their bills. Property tax and BEC, maybe next it will National Insurance rewards for non payments.
2. Isn't it ironic that Leslie Miller is making this announcement?
