Was wondering when the Renew corruption would come back around.

What can you expect of a deal that has Coward Davis and his lawfirm involved?

What this and other pastor's are saying to the people: "Stay ignorant and give us all your money."

The more christian this country is the more it will end up like a Taliban run one.

Nobody has to be all over the place like a mad man to make this country look like a banana republic.

Its easy, open your eyes.

this country IS a banana republic.

No matter what people's motives are the fact is that Fitzgerald is abusing parliamentary privileged and should be held in contempt and probably spend time in jail.

The fact is that he disclosed private emails from a private firm that he obtained illegally and he did it in a way that was also illegal (before parliament without anybody being able to defend themselves.)

The fact is that he, nor Coward Davis, nor any PLP, have disclosed their own income which they are legally required to as MPs.

Not matter the motives, in this case the criminals are clearly Fitzgerald, the Coward Davis, and the rest of the PLPs.

Great, this government can't do anything right.

Yes we need to pass this bill. Yes, yes, yes. Those pastors are power hungry idiots.

But no, don't spend more government money-its not appropriate. Have a referendum or don't. They don't abide by the results any ways.

Plus they don't know how much is being spent? They won't tell us? We're supposed to believe they're being 'mindful.'

You can't make this stuff up.

Hang on, he gets to illegally steal confidential information and then turn around and accuse the victims for it?

At the same time he gets to use people's salaries against them (legal salaries) while him and his party refuse to disclose-at minimum-what they are making in the Bahamas? What they are legally required to disclose?

Not to mention what they are hiding off shore.

I hope him and the whole crew turn up in the Panama Papers.

In reality its the PLP that need to:

"immediately cease its operations, clean house and refocus. Only time will tell if it will be but a temporary ceasing of operations -or permanency is the best order of the day for the seriously damaged and embattled organization."

But that will never happen because they are nothing but a criminal organization.

This is obviously a bad idea and will be screwed up and end up in the wrong pockets. Moving on:
Watching Perry try piece together words and form sentences is bloody joke!

"When doctors ask what happens when you introduce primary care and a patient comes to them and get NHI to pay for their services, what happens if the doctor diagnose that (the patient) has some catastrophic illness? The government will cover itself pending introduction of benefit packages by creating a major fund, hopefully, that we will be able to access to cover such exigencies and intervention,”

Sorry, that is not a complete thought, much less sentence or two. By any standards. But it does show progress, as he did use words and phrases somewhat related to the topic in general, which he usually doesn't even bother to do. So we've got that going for us!

Agree with him or not, its just plain embarrassing that he represent this country and is completely incapable of getting up in front of people (nationally or internationally) and give a competent speech.

I definitely agree with you that shanty towns are a problem, but there does need to be a human way of dealing with them. One difference is that you cannot hold the government, a corporation or one person directly accountable. And that in the long run I believe unregulated development does more local damage and extracts more from us without giving back or providing much opportunities. Ironically, unregulated development in some cases actually leads to more shanty towns as they provide menial, insecure jobs that most Bahamians don't want and in places where there is already high employment. I'm digressing....
