It would have been another question if gaming was still illegal in the Bahamas! This form of "not mixing government and personal interests" is common around the world. . .for example, like D. Trump had to divest himself from the Trump Cooperation when he became president. . .now the rest of the world do not see him as connected to the TC!! About 99% of world leaders had to do the same with zero headaches!!
As much as I hate to see Pintard be **"embarrassed"** because he must leave as leader in the FNM after having such a hard result during his whole leadership in the last few years. . . he was a part of "**pushing-out"** Minnis on that same principle!!
However, I am not going to tell the FNM how to run their ship. . . but I hope they find a better way in changing their leadership than how they did Ex-PM Minnis!
My observations with those numbers show that the down-hill trend started with not wanting minnis in 2021 and a repeat with not wanting pintard in 2026. . .the P-Value suggests that FNMs did not show-up in their strength because they did not like their leaders. . .perhaps, PM Davis had nothing to do with the FNMs not coming out to vote for their leaders! Maybe the common saying is true. . .high turnouts. . .the FNM is more likely to win and low turnouts. . .the PLP is most likely to win!! Maybe the FNM needs to get-a-grip about why they tend to "sink" the election every time they don't like their leaders!
I will never blame the voters for low turnouts at elections! The PLP turn0uts were everywhere. . .the FNM scatter-scatter. . .COI was a no-show!! Give us worthwhile candidates or leaders and perhaps we may go out and vote! But they want to push any dumb crap on us and demand we vote for **"their"** choice as candidates!! We basically tell them you and ya "dim-witted" candidate or party leader carry yall azz!! Take the people for granted. . .then ya just might get a poor voter turn-out election across ya head!!
We will all have to agree, COI has past it **"eye-tooth"** as a political party. . .the FNM has become a dud under the leadership of Pintard. . .the FNM has legacy and COI has hope!! Both groups now suffer from toxic leaderships!! It seems that Bahamians are disgusted with their childish and dishonest natures! Both will lie at the **"drop-of-a-hat"** so to speak!!
The electorate is disillusioned with them!! Trust me on that one. . .I know of FNMs who turned and voted PLP and younger FNMs who told me that Pintard makes no sense and they are not comfortable giving either one their country to run!!! I have to concur with this sentiment. . .neither LB nor MP are ready for high-time political leadership!! Their ambitions are running too far ahead of their abilities!! Both are too self-absorbed to see the light and move aside for better ability to take their places!!
