The Bahamas government, the lawmakers of today are just making up laws that are only discussed amongst themselves, and not stakeholders and the very people they will affect, they need to get off the I know it all train and come back to reality, because they don't. They say that Bahamians should get more involved in the tourist product and then make it hard for them to do so. They give a raise in wages only to tax the poor man this very raise right back. Full of s$$t.
The fact is we can not, we can not absorb/take in and take care of even .05% of a country with 11 million people, with more than half of them trying to flee. Sorry, but we just can't, unless we want to lose the Bahamas at a 100% more speed than we are now.
If someone is suspected of a crime, the police confront them and they turn and run away, and then the suspected is shot in the back, the public doesn't trust the police firstly because they lie, cover up evidence, and would rather shoot first and then ask or inquire questions later, as they are always in fear for their lives.
