This mans account of what happened to this lady has more holes than a sponge. Americans know how lousy our police investigation are, leaving the Bahamas the Yperfect place for conducting such a murder. This man killed this woman. I hope the daughter sticks with this investigation and bring independent investigations on the case.
Maybe that money ($12 mil <> $14 mil) should go towards educating young women to make better choices, keeping their legs closed, and stop becoming young single mothers in the first place.

A great question came up, was the police checked for alcohol consumption, was he intoxicated, and why would he be armed in such a place in the first place, the people who frequent this establishment are basically sensible guest and " not ghetto " maybe besides this uncontrollable, ghetto, his feelings, loose trigger stinking off duty police who followed an unarmed man, shoots him and then says " I was in fear for my life". Please US embassy follow this closely and make him pay and wish he had a rock to hide under. Stinking cop.
Excuses are the tools of the incompetent, for they build monuments of nothingness. Six beaches can't be controlled or policed by the port authority, all lousy authorities being paid for doing nothing.
9 years down the road, two governments, FNM and PLP, singing the same song as 9 years ago, with one party already saying they ain't interested in Obudsman, and/or foia. fnm has started, it's going to be interesting to see who's next with FOIA promises.
