That ruling makes no sense, in other words, once they land here immigration has 48 hours =2 days to deal with the illegal immigrants flowing into this country daily or set them free. She has to be crazy.
How come it took such a short time to work on and approve the RCL deal, which was unneeded, unimportant, and more than ten years to pass something so very important?
Whose fault is that? Our governments are known for going after the small man, putting them through the wringer, and squeezing every cent out of them, while the rich persons making millions of dollars can get away without being checked. Deal with vat collection the way the U.S. deals with their income taxes collection, go after the millionaires also, who owe us ( the struggling Bahamians) and collect our money, and give us ( the struggling Bahamians) a break
These punks need to be caught and sent to Foxhill prison immediately, The RBPF need to find them with the same vigor and aggressiveness they did when the police officer got shot. I think an evaluation of criminals in these types of cases should be done when convicted to find out their intellect to see just how dumb or smart they are, as far as schooling is concerned. I will bet they will all be under the E or F average in school. These cowards would rape someone's mother or daughters and when the same shoe is on the other foot they want to harm the perpetrator. Weak men, if you can call them, men.
The person who beat this child should be punished, and it doesn't matter who it is. If a parent had beaten their own child like this, and it was reported, that parent would be locked up with speed, so now a stranger can beat my child and injure them and get away scot-free? I see why we like conch salad so much, at times we think the same way, mixed up.
That is awesome news and I hope the minister applies the same measure to the criminals whose illegal guns (and only their illegal guns) are killing and causing all the havoc.
Sorry, but people living everyday lives are also struggling pastors, with the shantytowns' existence, illegal migration from Haiti will continue and flourish, because once they end up on any of our shores and in any of the shantytowns, they will find refuge, live undetected for years, and then multiply, and on independence day or any day will not pledge allegiance to the Bahamian flag, no refuge no place to live and hide, simple, and once shantytowns allowed ***where will they stop?*** Bahamians who have never experienced what a shantytown looks like from the inside need only to go online and see documentaries for themselves about shantytowns in Haiti. If allowed now it will never ever stop. Now is a turning point. In the Consitution, it should be written that shantytowns are forbidden throughout the Bahamas. Shantytowns are a cultural form of life that has been in Haiti since the time France had ownership, over two hundred years, the Bahamas on the other hand, maybe 45 yrs.
We desperately need an additional correctional hotel to house these criminals, called the new Foxhill prison, with the capacity to hold another 1000 inmates. No more bail will be needed because now there will be enough space to hold them until trial.
Let the straw workers organize themselves. If the government wants to truly be of some help they need to listen to the majority of vendors and act accordingly.
