In ten years' time, that area will be mashed down and destroyed and will never recover and then RCL will pack up, push out and leave while giving us the finger.
On Tuesday a lady onboard a cruise ship reported she was raped and the accused was taken into custody immediately by the RBPF and is being held pending investigation. Do we see a double standard here?
In the norm, a lady makes an accusation against an everyday Joe of rape and abuse, and the police do little to no investigation and haul him before the courts in days, now we see a person hiding behind party lines, and the investigation has to be thorough and now taking weeks. This clearly shows how far behind we are when it comes to being accountable. Words and lip service are all we know.
How come it is taking so long to bring charges in the case against the sitting MP, it's a shame that an ordinary male in society would have already been beaten and charged by the RBPF. It is actions like these that make us a banana boat republic.
This sounds like good news. Mr Smith should be given the go ahead imeadiatly, and RCL and the Nassau Cruise Port and our government should donate to the restoration of the lighthouse because this will enhance the entrance which benefits Nassau on the whole and not just Mr. Smith.
Which ethnicity are these highly skilled professional construction foreign workers? I don't think they are talking about Haitian workers, and 53 of them, something is missing here, Mr, Bell would never refer to a Bahamian or Haitian carpenter or mason as a highly-skilled construction professional, so these workers can't be black, so how and why are they given work permits in the first place?
Yes, the nasty Bahamians don't know how to clean up after themselves, and then when the owner becomes tired of their nastiness and sells the island, the nastys (Bahamians) who left their garbage on the island would be the first to complain.
What is a "Rasta-type male"? If this is a male with locked hair then the police can start first by looking at one of our members of parliament. Such a statement is very dangerous, stupid, and very reckless, and the person responsible for making or printing such a statement should be condemned.
