And the PM about the place boasting about government about to do something about the prices. Only fools would believe anything that comes out of the mouth of Davis.

What the government could do is eliminate duty or eliminate VAT. But they won't as they will double tax us to the grave.

Well said.

Only the PLP believes the Bahamas came into existence after 1967 and that Pindling built the country.

How could you say you forgot to give an individual who was a Cabinet Minister a state funeral? They didn't forget. Davis words as opposition leader about Kelly clearly showed what the PLP thought. Utter disgrace.

If you think this is what are country needs you are seriously blinded by political persuasion. Hopefully one day your eyes will open and you will put country before blinded political nonsense.

The could do a similar thing with fuel costs.

But won't hold my breathe for that.

I know it never will.

Just saying that if these political misfits really want change they need to start where change happens and stop spewing hot air

The first way the government can bring down the prices is eliminate VAT.

Alex Storr is completely incompetent and intelligently ignorant if he believes a pledge conference means that is actually given. A pledge means you say you will give so much, but there is no guarantee that you will. Is that too complex for him to understand? And if he is so foolish to believe the UNDP will participate in a public relations exercise, he is doing more damage to the country and being able to receive help from the UNDP in the future.

These brain dead politicians like Storr need to be banned from politics. They only know how to play nonsensical political games

Letters submitted really need to be fact checked. (And no, I don't work for NIB, but just researched, as I thought the writer was on to something, only to see they are not. This is how inaccurate information starts things)

The letter writer is actually referring to the "continuing eligibility to receive old
age non-contributory pension" form (https://www.nib-bahamas.com/UserFiles/H…). This is for people who will get pension but never contributed to NIB, not about people who contributed to NIB.

The "Pension Contributing Eligibility Form is completely different and doe not contain the information the writer is referring to (https://nib-bahamas.com/UserFiles/HTMLE…)

This right here show a Minister with no clue. Why should GB mirror Nassau? GB is different from Nassau and should have what is critical for making it work in GB, not mirror Nassau. All these MPs in parliament just have no clue. Too Nassau centric.,
