I'm hoping Minnis could resign and the FNM get a leader. Yeah Minnis is better option than Davis, but this country still needs better than the two of them. And the DNA is no option.

Like you I am amazed at people talking about Independents candidates. That has not worked before in our country and it still will not. Unfortunately, elections call for money, and which independent will put up their own money to run and election for a $28K salary a year?

They would really need to have the country at heart to do that.

I can concur with you that when compared with Davis, sadly, Minnis is clearly the better choice.

However, can we get to the place where we have real leaders running our the political parties in this country aspiring for PM and not have to make the choice between the lesser of 2 evils?

Do you really think this will work in our country? Do you really think that we have an electorate that will vote for independents?

Where is Davis and Fred now? If you really care for the Bahamas, time to speak up and hear your input on dealing with this.

But obviously, we know they won't get political points for this so they will keep quiet.

This right here is why the government needs to take swift action. And it had nothing to do with votes. People cannot disobey the law, act lawlessly, build illegally, and then threaten the government just because you voted for them.

Their is just one incumbent who definitely needs to be FNM list not to be given a nomination - that's Minnis.

Clearly with Minnis doing this he is trying to purge the party of any opposition to him. it shows he does not understand what is leadership.

Great leaders never surround themselves with yes people. They always ensure that they have people around who disagree with them to help them become that much better.

Amazing how these companies can go years not paying customs. But citizens ordering online can't receive a package unless they pay customs.
