What the heck is this woman's problem and what in the world is complaining about now? I'm really trying to figure out what is the point she making noise over. She expected school to not pen? What? Is the employer suppose to get permission from the parasite union to tell the employee when to come to work?

Why do these union so called leaders keep running to the newspaper with their internal issues? The Tribune really needs to stop printing this stuff.

Why is that corruption? Could it be that the lawyers for the other party may have chosen not to show up? Speculation without facts does no one good and only muddies the facts.

*She said: “I strongly recommend that the Ministry of Education stop, review, cancel, pause and consider students having the opportunity to repeat the 2020 school year and that the social promotion practices cease forthwith. It is so sad, but true – the educational system has failed the children of this nation over and over and over.

“The results of the 2020 BJC and BGCSE National Examinations is not a surprise. From the onset I advocated for the sitting of the exams to be cancelled and that the students be awarded predicted grades. If this method was used, as it was used in the United Kingdom and in 160 countries and 10,000 institutions, then 100 percent of our students would have received grades.*

The union president just continues to show why she is one of the biggest causes of failure to our education system. What has she done over the years to help make our education better? Can't name one thing.

Then she suggest that BGCSE exams grades be predicted? WTH? Is she serious. Predict what grade a child would get if they would sit an exam and then give them that grade without sitting the exam? Guess now why we see why our students are getting the D average. Nuff said. That's a merry christmas for you

*Thus the Government is now, in effect, backing oil exploration in Bahamian waters even though the Prime Minister and several of his Cabinet ministers have said publicly that they are personally opposed to such activities.*

Is this statement factual. I think the Tribune should add clarification to this. If a previous government signed an agreement is a successive government bound by it? As is always said, governments are continuous. A newly elected government from one political party may disagree with what a previous government from another party may have done. However, legally they are bound to the agreement. They could cancel it, but then they need to be prepared to start paying out based on the lawsuits that may come.

Grow up birdie.

It is sickening, sad and shameful that you would throw intelligence out the window in an effort to be blindly loyal to party over country.

This attitude is clearly a sign of this country going to hell fast as we will not call politicans to account because so many party blinded.

Spot on observation.

Sad how we continue to prop up irrelevant things as relevant, and these union heads continue to practice bullying tactics.

I would not waste time responding to your ignorance of dependence on another country as evidently you have some angel to push.
