Did I miss something? This is a pure click bait by the Tribune which is very sad. Expected better editorial standards. Nowhere in this words of the Minister did I read him to say they are still working out the Grand Lucayan deal. What I read him saying is that even though they have a heads of agreement, because of COVID19 impacting cruise lines, the cruise lines first focus is to make sure they can stay in business. I for one would think that would be the first goal of any business
Why does the Minister of Tourism put together an incentive program for Bahamians to list the family islands. If we had low prices at home, even when the borders were opened, our people would have no need to go to Florida.
Amazing how the church wants to stay in the building and not leave the building to be of use to the community. Sorry so called "christian" council. Government does not need to consult you all on anything. Use common sense. Seems Mount Tabor did.
So true. Common sense should have told our people to stay out fo Florida. Amazing we don't want to be lockdown and have freedoms restricted, but when we allowed to travel we blame the government for causing the outbreak. Just amazing.
While I understand what you are saying, how many countries around the world have more that 1 electrical company in an area where people have choices on which electrical company they can choose?
With BEC/BPL the government needs to get out of being owner and become regulator. As long as government stays the owner, decisions done will always have some semblance of political meandering attached to them that will affect efficient operations.

So what are the dictatorial things he is doing? Give me the facts and I will tell you if I agree or not.
If you say there have been bad decision that is another tings, and I agree on that.

So are you in support of the government taking away the constitutional rights Bahamians to travel? Do you favour a dictatorship?
