Let's not jump to assumptions without facts. We change a nation not by assumption, but on showing a better way with facts, and experience of doing something.

*After the tragedy of 9/11 in the US, their airlines and many others around the world went, cap in hand, to the public treasury seeking state aid. The same is true in this pandemic. Billions have been doled out in the US and around the world and little mention is made of the fact that there is a clause in the contract that provides for government ownership of these airlines if they can’t pay the money back. But nobody complains about that.*

Please tell us what airlines in the Bahamas have gone to the government with cap in hand asking for bail out money? Which Bahamian airlines, other than bhaamasair, has the government of the Bahamas even considered giving subsidy to? I'm getting sick of these stupid statements. Many private airlines in the Bahamas have had to deal with the unfair playing field of a national airline subsided by the government and they are able to turn a profit, coming into business long after Bahamasair started. Time for Bahamaasir to step up it game an stop being a drain on the treasury.

Be factual. Where is it been said that you can take a short trip without being tested to return?

If I read correctly, DR. Brennen said that was a recommendation made, but nowhere did he say that is the policy the government pronounced. We need to at least be accurate when we make critiques.

This is sad, Yet, why do we jump to always post these stories? Do we believe crime attracts people to our country?

Amazing how he could be a dimwit and yet you suggest this dimwit is best able to give shrive to the country by practicing medicine/surgery. Why would you want a dimwit doing surgery on you?

When will we deal with the root cause of what leads to giving out vouchers. We promote in the paper this giving of vouchers and the real issues are not being attacked.

What about BAMSI?

How many deals for the Bahamian people did the PLP make. Oh, they made deals to enrich themselves.

What about the so called 2% Christie says he got back from BTC? Where is that?

moncurcool says...

So true. We always want something for nothing. Time to change that mentality.

Fred needs to shut up. When he was counsel to the GBPA, he should have been telling them to get investment. Why should the government do the job of the GBPA and direct the investor to Freeport, when Andros need to be developed?

How is it that certain people are always allowed a mic in front of them to comment? Are there not other people out there that we can let speak rather than the same ones over and over?
