The day the government buys the Freeport Harbour would be the day it becomes a loss making venture. name me one company that the government runs that is profitable? Nuff said! . It is sad however, how the attorney never open his mouth on such a topic when he was the lawyer of the GBPA.
So where was the noise Fred Mitchell made when a minister of the government, Shane Gibson, presided over the last hurricane recovery?
Trust me, what she is doing now is way better than before she was in charge, and WAYYYY better than what Shane ever did. And unlike Fred, I reside in Grand Bahama.
When will we stop pushing a mic in front of these union people. I am sick and tired of them bringing their spat with in public, when they should have the common sense to sit at a table with the parties and discuss. What is the leader of the "Teachers' Union teaching our children how to deal with issues?
I am sick and tired of people building homes, and then expect the government to replace the home for them. We need to stop this garbage in this society. The government is not responsible for rebuilding or building your home. If you wish to be a homeowner, then you need to make sure cover your property with insurance. It is time we stop this expectation of the government to do for us, what we should do for ourselves.
This clown needs to shut up. If he truly has been to Abaco as he claims, then he should be the first to realise the BPL has an immense challenge on its hands to rebuild its electrical grid. And to say BPL has done nothing in restoring power is seeking to fabricate facts. Brave needs to help and stop blowing hot air.
It is downright sinful, sad, shameful and pathetic how this so called rights Bahamas group is always fighting of the rights of illegals in the Bahamas and not the rights of legals. I have yet to hear these groups tell illegals to go home or not come here.

This has nothing to do with Turnquest. You build a home, make sure insure it. The government is not responsible to rebuild your home.
