Most cemeteries around the world do not have walls. They are open. However, they are planned properly. We have never had proper town planning in New Providence, and probably never will.
Cruise ship passengers do not benefit the local economy they benefit the cruise lines. My question however, relates to the 3,000 jobs. Are these 3,000 permanent jobs, or 2,500 construction jobs and only 500 permanent ones? Are they the highpaying ones, or again the low end ones?
While I agree with the author on the need for an airport in Grand Bahama, the reality is that our government does not have the funding to keep Grand Bahama at the level it is or even developed further. That is reality. It a bad catch 22 but that is where it is. I'm and pressed to name one island other than new Providence where the government (any government) has done it or is doing it.
This is high way robbery. class action lawsuit needs to be brought against GBPC right now. This is just white collar embezzlement being done in broad daylight.
What i still cannot understand is how new Providence claiming to have tremors of the earthquake, and no one from Inagua talking about tremors. Baffles me.

Do not politicize the census. We do it every 10 years, as do other developed countries, so it has nothing to do with politics.
