No it is not fear mongering. It is a fact. If you have walked through central Abaco, as I have since the hurricane passed, you would realize that Central Abaco is not livable.
It is downright sinful, sad, shameful and pathetic how this so called rights Bahamas group is always fighting of the rights of illegals in the Bahamas and not the rights of legals. I have yet to hear these groups tell illegals to go home or not come here.
The letter writer need to get facts right. Rolle was not minister of youth when the world relays were cancelled. If you can't get that simple fact right, then why else should the rest of the speculative letter be believed?
The only reason the system held up was that Matthew cause theme to replaced the old poles that should have long been replaced, but got destroyed in Matthew. East got hit because they had old poles there and they got broken and now they have to be replaced.
. I really don't understand why the power company does not do continual maintenance and replaced these old poles that you can clearly see need to be replace. It amazes me. . Interesting, that they would put underground in certain areas, and overhead in others.
Can someone tell me what the hell this statement said? It appears the minister just talking about her contingent she paying for and not what assistance they are giving to get the athletes there.
"Mr Lightbourne outlined the procedure yesterday, noting it took approximately an hour for 20 people to complete the initial step of providing contact information." . Could someone explain to me why it takes 1 hour just to get contact information from only 20 people? You can see why people are frustrated. Something is wrong just at that initial step.
So you pay the unions and then have unreliably power supply? Then where does government get their money from when businesses close due to unreliable supply of power?
. If you can not see the connection then you need to open your eyes. For once we have a sensible minister who knows how to run a business doing sensible thinking.
No. The DPM is suggesting that you pick your most important one thing, so that when you do that, it makes all the other things easier. Makes sense. Read the book The One Thing by Gary Keller. If we learn to fix the one important thing, it will fix all the other things. When you are all over the place, nothing gets done.
The author of this article cannot be serious that in our black majority rule and controlled country that reverse racism does not exist. To make such a statement stinks of ignorance. The fact that she assumes that just because you are white means you have money and therefore power over people and are racist towards them is a racist viewpoint in and of itself. I have a number of white friends, and they don't have any money, but sadly they have experienced racism from the very brown skinned people of my complexion. Not only does reverse racism exists, but ever since the so called majority rule, those of us who are the complexion the majority have felt more racism from the ruling oligarchy who are our same skin colour.
. While I realise the Tribune likes to allow people there freedom of opinion in publishing articles, some articles really just do not need to be published when they lack ignorance displayed a blatant regard for becoming informed.
