The joke of the day. Mitchell needs to sit down. Does he really believe that I will vote for him and his jokey leader with the nonsense they have done in the past. Maybe he needs to go take a poll on himself and see what the electorate says. Oh wait... that poll was taken in 2017. Nah said.
I don't understand how people who run government believe that if they just tax something then they will get more money. Do they not realise that people will always seek to avoid paying more taxes? SO the little area that is 5-6% of the markets as the ministers claims, where they go to do the most taking, people will just shift and go elsewhere. The reality is that we need to find better industries and create more opportunities for people to start legitimate businesses which can impact our economy.
SO he needs to go to the union and talk about it with them and keep it out of the newspaper. Frankly, this is what bothers me with these so called wanna be "leaders"
So true. We have too may people who harping on these foolish irrevelant traditions that mean nothing as opposed to being more concerned with the person being able to do the job properly. Since when does the coloraturas of the suit have to do with what here job is?
Davis: "I am humbled by the confidence reposed in me to lead this party to victory." I can't believe he opened his mouth to say that. What confidence do the people have in you when you told everyone not to challenge your position so you were the only choice on the ballot. That is not confidence, that is dictatorship.
The sad reality is that unions never seek to push people to aim higher. They want people to fight over crumbs form a piece of the pie rather than teaching them to get the own ingredients to make their own pie. Yet, isn't it pathetic and now right sad that not one union who complains is stepping up to the plate to put in an offer to pay the hotel?
Why is the Tribune taking anything from this irrelevant union man. This is the same one who was speaking unsubstantiated rumours that the geo was putting in a proposal to purchase the government share of the company based on facts he did not even have. These union leaders need to shut up. They are doing more damage every time they speak.
It is so sad that you just have PLP blinders on all the time. Bennett is not speaking as a board member but a private citizen in regards to an organisation doing something to his family member grave. The BTC manager was in a company meeting speaking officially as a company executive about an official meeting with the Prime Ministers of the Bahamas and degrading all Bahamians. If you are so politically blinded that you cannot see the distinction then that is really sad.

When will ZNS be sold? In the 21st century with the media having been opened up in the Bahamas, the government does not need to own a tv station.
