Is this what our "supposed" democratic country has come to? A Cabinet minister threatening citizens not to exercise their constitutional rights to protest?

moncurcool says...

This from the man who cursed in Parliament, and from the man who lied to Parliament and no speaker did anything about it.

WOW! Can't make this stuff up.

So true.

These dudes only be talking to hear themselves talk.

Do something and then come talk after it is done, and the talk will mean something then.

This clearly shows Halkitis is living in la la land.

Bran is right, the laziest thing is to just raise taxes and take from people, rather than find creative ways to raise money that do not burden the population. This government needs to go, and go fast. They are just killing this country.

Did this brain dead Cabinet minister ever stop to think that the last three years Covid shut down this country, so businesses were not making money. And then this non creative thinking government just decided to tax the country into the ground, so the 47% is not able to make anything.

Maybe it would be a novel idea for the government to not just hold the line on spending, but decrease expenditure to build the confidence of its own citizens that it can govern.

This PLP government is no different or new. Same old tired politicians who only have the all for me baby attitude. 2026 cannot come soon enough.

So true

I am trying to figure out how is it now a matter of national importance. Was it not a matter of national importance when this first came to her?

This reminds me of the BahaMar situation.
