The government cannot take care of west end and east end and yet they want to go after the port in Freeport? Well if that happen then freeport dead just like every other family island the government cannot take care of.
Could these people who keep talking about a liveable wage please explain what they mean by it when they talk and stop just throwing out words? Are they expecting one person to earn 2625 a month to have a liveable wage? Or is that combine between persons in the house? Or do they expect to raise minimum wage to the so called liveable wage?
Just sick of people talking smack and not explaining what they mean. Especially people like these union leaders who don't run a business but only want to take from people who invest to operate a business.
Can someone please tell me why the chief justice has to inspect the police? Is that really what the judiciary should be about? Is that really what the police should be wasting time doing?
So this dude believe it is gambling that is causing the gap between rich and poor and social instability in this country? Wow. Amazing how he does not fault his croonies in power who were the ones who put it in place, Just unbelievable.
So the government intervenes in a private companies decision making? Is the government providing now the funds to pay these 20 people? What was the deal that the government struck to have FCP reverse decision? What did the government commit the Bahamian people to? This is why this country needs a Freedom of Information Act.
Which clearly means all options are not on the table. Government needs to start with itself first and pay what it owes to the fund before doing what they always like to do - tax the people

Amazing how the people who talk about Moxey doing an excellent job don't list one thing she has done.
But the former VP of the Port can't do anything as she was a part of creating the problem.
