Another brain dead politician. How does diversifying in the tourism industry solve the problem? Is is not still all dependent on tourism? So will this greater diversity in the tourism industry keep the tourist coming if there is another 9/11 or pandemic?

What I find so amazing though, is that the same PLP that constantly tries to vilify Stafford Sands, continue to the two prong approach he developed for our economy and cannot come up with anything else.

The whole point of the baking system is to perpetrate predatory lending to keep people in financial slavery. They would gladly give you a loan for a car or shopping, but would shut the door on you if you want to be your own boss and sign the front of the check and not the back.

Amazing how these foreigners from Canada, the US, and now England are constantly writing letters saying what the Bahamas should do and keep ignoring what their own countries are doing.

I didn't even know Miller was still around.

Wonder when the concern will move him to action?

Knew the spin was coming. Unbelievable.

If this was really about getting the information though, don't you think the financial secretary could pick up the phone and call Mrs. Larson? Are we this childish in the Bahamas?

The reality is every NGO ensures they give information to the donor. Watson just trying to spin the falsehoods.

Our governments just joke on solar. Why not just pass a bill to allow people with solar to sell it back to the power company? Put your money where you mouth is and stop playing games.

What the...? Is she serious? We will do promotions through the flawed process and then we will fix the flaw after the promotion? And this is the new day reformation? WOW!

You cannot make this nonsense up.

We really need to have reporters stop putting mics in front of these brain dead politicians without challenging their statements.

The bigger question is, will the government cut expenditure?

So the PM goes to Parliament and lies (though every right thinking person who is not blind with political partisanship knew that when he spewed it). And the Minister of Social Services comes out and does he same thing. Then the NGOs, who are more regulated than government, gives the facts to prove both wrong.

Both of them should resign forthwith. It is about integrity and they clearly show they don't have it.

But knowing the PLP, they will come with a spin just like when the PM said he broke quarantine, Darville said he was on his way to quarantine and Watson said he was not in quarantine.

See why nothing can ever get done in this country. Cabinet has to approve it first. Pray tell why if you have a DRA that has a board that Cabinet has to approve the houses?
