Well, they sent the Standard Bureau folks to inspect cars in Japan, of all places, so that the Bahamas would not be a dumping ground for unworthy vehicles.
They should have sent them to Exuma to inspect boats instead.

the FNM is going through a metamorphosis, which was put on hold between their convention and the election. I do not think we will see butterflies in the end.
the work climate is such that, either do what you are told, or you will be fired or moved. often, the threat is delivered by a minion which apparently has no place in the chain of command.
i am familiar with an organization which is missing several department heads. as they are fired, or moved, or demoted , no one remaining accepts the posts.

these lease to own agreements are ludicrous.
there is no protection in the law for seller or buyer.
i knew a woman who drafted, not one, but two lease-to-own agreements, on a property where she held a mortgage (wonder if her bank knew that).
twice the tenants would not come up with the additional payments to establish the down payments and requested a credit towards rent.
she finally sold it, but not after grumbling with the buyer's attorney who demanded she settled property taxes, utility bills prior to the sale.
she wanted to sell the place while having "payment plans" in place for tax and utilities. IOW, she was going to skip town and dump it on the buyer.
at least the buyer's attorney did his job, but boy, was she furious.
