Well the former govt could not go ahead with it because of the public knowledge of the freeloader's do not disconnect list.

The freeloaders list has to end before any sort of bond is implemented.

That is why the list finally made headlines.

I have always found it disgustiing that i have to pay customs duties, and other bills while politicians even get free groceries, meals and even liquor.

It is not a free line of credit to some, it is to all customers.

You will not be disconnected if you pay 50% of your balance each month and the outstanding remaining balance is covered by your deposit.

This is meant to tide the customer over for a couple of months, otherwise after 3 or 4 months the remainder will exceed your deposit.

bpl will keep the light on once you pay one half of the outstanding balance every month.

that works for every customer, but you must not let the half balance grow.

ahum sheeprunner, you are comparing apples and oranges and forgot what the algebra teacher told you in 4th grade.
teachers get books pencils and markers to use on the job and should get them from the employer, just like BEC provides trucks and cars and supplies for the employees to do the job.

In this case the bec employees and their family are sucking up air conditioning and hot water at my expense. AT HOME, not on the job.

i understand. the events in his youth left an indelible mark.

but, in reality, because of the reasons stated of lost files, backlog of paper work, etc... it will just be business as usual.

you'all may continue to go there weekly to check on the progress. bring a bottle of water and some snacks.
