every so many years there are controversial reports in the media about staff and instructors at BTVI.
while and outsider whose information on this matter is limited to the print media, I sit and wonder whether this is part of the apparent guyanisation of the school system.
the guyanese, or jamaicans, work two contracts for gratuity, then they either leave or go on month to month with no pension liability to the govt. they also are likely offered lower wages.
Long past are the times when the best and brightest of these countries came here.
I could not help but notice on the newspaper the other day that the protestors were all Bahamians.
Having the money is not the point. The point is to have others pay her bills. Just like when the queen of England asked to have her heating bill paid from the poverty fund. Taking money from the sick and orphaned so she could sit pretty.

As Nicky Kelly stated in yesterdays Punch, with this level of Free flow of information, who needs the FOIA.
In the days of scanners, digital cameras, printer copiers, every citizen must step up and become a whistle blower, just don't use your own cell phone.
this FOIA might make it more difficult for people to get little printouts out of the garbage.
some of the young reporters have chutzpah. Good thing, as many of the old guard are dying out.
