This is like when you go ask for a salary raise, and they dont want to give it to you. They make up useless things for you to do, as if to say the reason you don't get a raise is because you are not doing enough work.

They are not going to do anything with it. I changed careers to avoid being plagued by this type of aboriginal walkabout assignment: Go out and don't come back until you find food.
There is a strange parallell with my current private sector job and the governance of the PLP, times are tough for businesses, but instead of finding ways to cut expenses and concentrate on the money-making aspects of the business, they want to expand, expand.
The boss says expansion generates new revenues. That only happens because our minimal staff take on more duties. The result is that the customer service on existing and expanding businesses gets crappier and crappier and no one wins.

actually i carry a certified birth certificate, and have for years. I needed one many years ago and had 3 copies made. i carry the other 2 in my briefcase.

Anyway, once i had to resolve a matter with the govt, took a bunch of papers, and i was told. For that, you need a birth ceritficate. comme no, i have one right here with me. The civil servant said;What? you carry a birth certificate with you? Yep. i did not have to make a second trip. lol
