There are such nasties as teachers and coaches too.
i recall as a child being sent to line up at an important event. When the nun arranged the boys and girls in two files, it turned out that my pair was much shorter than I was and so she wanted to toss me and find a shorter girl.
Well I was proud of having been chosen and sent there and threw an epic tantrum. Epic. She gave up and my pair was much shorter.
Actually , I have known people who brought food with them coming to the family Islands.
Also some bahamians do bring their cooler when they rent in the family islands. I myself have done so, instead of paying $15 for grits and tuna.
Are traveller's now compeled to buy food whereever they go? Gee, i have always carried cookies and chocolates when I travel abroad. Only thing i can no longer take is liquids.

It is surprising that supervalue is actually beating prices from around town, as it is usually more expensive.
Here are some ways to avoid the high prices:
1. Bake your own bread. Can even do it on the stove top.
2. Stop buying drinks. Make ice tea from cheap lipton. With sufficient sugar and some lime juice it will be ok, and healthier than damn tampico.
3. Replace coffee with tea. The turks did during the world war and have never gone back.
4. Make peas and rice with extra peas.
I was going to say eat mackerel. But it tastes nasty and now is more expensive than tuna.
