I hope you see why i would not support him as prime minister again. after all of that Minnis was not smart enough to get the license plate number....wow!
Not again Bodie!! I can just look at the headline and tell you are the author of a letter to the editor. Stop it man! If you are not now,you should have been a grandfather long time.If only for their sake, show some backbone ,albeit curved at your 3 score and 10 years plus.
Just highlighting Birdie's response to this article shows PLP cult like thinking. I spoke with over a dozen of my PLP acquaintances at the time and i was dumfounded that not one of them had a problem with the signs being erected . My 10 year old grandson said at the time that it would frighten visitors and make them either stay in their hotels or go back home, but here is Birdie defending an eminent attorney who would later become leader of my beloved Bahamas,on his not being able to understand what a 10 year old could....only in The Bahamas.
In reading her article, one thing that stands out is the she mentioned following as she said," dozens of Palestinian writers ,social media posts, etcetera" .So she has formed her opinion from listening to one side of the story. People who do the same from Israel's side only, would have a completely different view. When Israel catches an Israeli who is suspected of spying for Hamas, if he is found guilty he goes to jail; if it is the other way around,he is killed ,with his body hung in public and then dragged through the streets to cheering crowds, children and all and all of those Palestinians that she is following would be cheering also.A Hamas official admitted that they are responsible for the military and that the U.N. is responsible for taking care of their people. You must remember they were only able to pull off their raid on Oct. 7th,because they lulled Israel into into thinking that they were interested in governing their people.
Congratulations to them and may they continue to do well and climb up the ladder. The only thing that i have a problem with is that when graduating classes of new physicians or attorneys are 85% women, i seem to be the only person to notice it.
I personally know a few former experienced workers who would have been more than willing to return there and in fact did submit job applications, but the Bahamian manager refused to re- engage them, instead going with mostly new employees whom he could pay less and this was seen as an item that impacted batch quality and timely production.
A law student told me that Brave was instrumental in the case that was taken to the Privy Council concerning the mandatory death sentence being declared unconstitutional. He also informed me that the convicted murderer ,after being returned to society, was convicted of another murder.
