Those visitors just went there at the wrong time. They should go there on Sunday and they
would see the Bazaar come alive, because there are about ten churches in the back there.

Mr. Quant has a point here as every time there is a gathering of people , say junkanoo,
etc, the first comment ,especially if you are watching it on television is the amount of fat people we have. One of my friends like to say that we may have 350,000 people.but weight-
wise we have over 600.000,

Remember Algernon Allen some years ago asked the Speaker of the House of Assembly
to ask Bradley to not be so passionate while presenting his communications to the House
as he was"frightening the little darlings". I still feel he should temper his speeches as not
doing so does not augur well for his appearance. Besides if he wasn't able to pay off his ex
sweetheart he would have been very quiet now.

This one is for BIRDIE, as a gentle reminder of what your beloved PLP and its rich
politicians think of poor black Bahamians.
One of the things that brought the Brent Symonette/Airport Authority saga to the fore was
that Bradley Roberts knew about the conflict of interest but only brought it to the public's
attention when Brent kept asking him to make payments on the huge amount of money
that his catering operation owed to the Authority.
At the same time that Brent was 'harassing' him, Bradley was 'harassing' Brent to do his job.
You see birdie, Bradley wanted Brent to stop the poor black woman from selling breakfast from the back of her car to the taxi drivers, but Brent kept ignoring him.
The mega rich PLP's motto was then,as it now, "all for me,baby!"

If there is only one positive thing to come from this BahMar saga is that it has shown us and the world the type of individuals we have elected to govern our dear country.
But sadly,it is ,using an adjective that Perry who loves Webster uses profusely,
a 'stupendous negative '

When the late Sir Edward St. George mentioned that Freeport should change its name, since
there were other Freeports around the world ,to one more unique and Bahamian, Fred
Mitchell said that we was correct, but should not have been the person to say it. Again ,
' Invest your money,but SHUT UP! '

@TheMadHatter, i don't think you read the above article, because if you did,you would
notice that the crux of the article is the different ways the PLP hierarchy treat both investors.
If the former prime minister had brought Nygard to Bain's Town could you imagine how the
PLP, especially the ones mentioned in this article would have carried on?
When the late Sir Edward St.George once mentioned that Freeport should change its name ,
Fred Mitchell said that he was right, but he should not have been the person to say it. In others
words invest your money, but keep your mouth closed.
If you can remember, Perry Christie and Sarkis were once very close and even considered
friends, but if your brother were a mechanic and did work on your car to the tune of $900 and
the work was not satisfactory, you would complain. Imagine spending $900,000.000.

Exactly my sentiments ! They spend money wherever they want and not necessarily on
what the country needs.

I have written a few blogs concerning Bell before and this article continues to reaffirm my
opinion that he is an ass, though(supposedly) an intelligent one. After all he is a minister of
state in the present government , maybe that says it all. Every time he opens his mouth,
foolishness comes out. If you didn't know it ,you would never guess that he was a police
officer. It reminds me of many of our people who have attained a lofty position and have
permanently erased from their minds the fact that they came up from the ranks.
The article say that he refused to comment on whether or not he supports the Court's
ruling, but everything he said shows my toddler grandson that he does not support it.
A "no comment" would have been a neutral answer.
