If you saw tonight's news with the two very obese officers escorting a prisoner to court , you could understand how the convict escaped. Maybe they need the canine sections,so when he is bitten and caught you would hear " OWWW! Who let the dogs out!"
Even though i voted yes in the referendum, having seen lately all the financial ruin ordinary Bahamians are experiencing due to gambling, i now wish they would all close , because only the operators are getting fat(financially) and the government being unable to manage our economy sensibly,is depending on them to generate more money, coming mostly from Bahamians who can least afford it.Combine that with VAT,heaven help us all ! We let people get away with anything ,when we are the same colour. Could you imagine a white government and white web shop operators in this same situation ? please help me with what you think the plp would be shouting from the rooftops.
We seem to be one the same page with this one , as i often say that Dr Minnis ,with the right people advising him could be better. Due to your level- headed response, without the normal defensiveness, you seem to be, to quote the one who prefers dabbling with Webster to working ," one of great equanimity".
You are quite wrong about Hubert Ingraham not being a good speaker. A good speaker is not one who speaks superfluously like the present prime minister, but rather one who gets his point across and keeps the attention of his audience, like the former prime minister did.
When you see parents running and leaving their children behind, just to stay in this country, that should tell every Bahamian what a wonderful country the bahamas is ! It is incumbent upon all of us too keep it so and controlling illegal immigration goes a long way in doing so.
In any other country or financial institution , this article would have said,"Paul McWeeney, FORMER managing director BOB." Alas, this is the Bahamas, the PLP. I wish i had no shame like him,see how haughty he looks in that picture,he is probably saying thank God because of me it is only $100 million .WOW!
GrassRoot my commenting on them being well fed concerns their appearance generally, they are not as big as many of our Bahamian ladies but none of them appear to be slim.I am sure that our officers gave them rations to sustain them and improve their condition as you and i would have done.
