GrassRoot my commenting on them being well fed concerns their appearance generally, they are not as big as many of our Bahamian ladies but none of them appear to be slim.I am sure that our officers gave them rations to sustain them and improve their condition as you and i would have done.
I agree with you sp , sickened must be Haitian-Bahamian as all i see are some apparently well fed Haitian ladies hoping to have Bahamian born babies within a year. That sickens me!
Perry, you must have already seen that this is another of your boo boos, instead you should have appointed Bernadette as Governor General as she is very educated,a lawyer and CPA and most importantly, she would have had to stay home.
This recent policy change by Government House is not unexpected for two reasons: 1) this is something she adopted from her late husband, who only granted interviews when the questions were submitted beforehand and the interviewer could not deviate from them and she knows that this cannot work since the airways were opened up :2) she is not as astute and knowledgeable as any of her predecessors and the chances of embarrassment are greatly reduced by her keeping quiet.
We must be very careful and look out for our country first as Mexico and Belize did ,because just one case of ebola in the Bahamas and the tourist arrival figure would be lest than before Sir Stafford Sands was minister of tourism.
He is one of the few "real" bishops whom i respect ,(we have more bishops than the U.S.),but according to some legal minds the wording of the amendment can be challenged and we must remember the Privy Council jammed us with the death penalty and we don't want it to happen again.

Replace the PLP demigod with a WHITE face, or even a YELLOW face? The present
governor general would allow interviews before this were to happen!
