I wish Mrs. Curry a speedy and complete recovery and i agree that the the police officers should be more cautious when discharging their weapons within a residential community, but one thing i must comment on is the fact that there was a police chase in the area and she chose to either go outside or be outside when the incident was unfolding. Maybe because of a different era , but if that had happened when i was a child, my mother would scoop me up in her arms and run as quickly as she could inside the house.
Is this the same minister who had her picture placed on the back of distributed medals and demanded that all and sundry stand when she entered the room?
When i saw the topic before clicking on it to open it up , i told a colleague that i would bet him $100 against $1 that the author of the letter is Ortland Bodie.
Their seems to be a negativity disease going around whenever it comes to responding to these articles. Here we have a prominent physician, who has first hand knowledge of the situation ,telling what he has observed and hardly anyone believes him ,especially those not of his political persuasion. Even if he were to give statistics, they would still be disputed.
@Hoda, while reading the article, the commissioner said that Nygard was not there when his officers went to his estate and had already left the country. I don't know anyone who would be asked to return to any country to be arrested, prosecuted and possibly jailed, who would cooperate.
You have people like 'Sparky' who for months have been calling the PM everything but a child of god , using any profanity imaginable and daring all and sundry to arrest him. Those of us who are old enough, know that could never happen under a Pindling regime.
There is nothing that the PM is being blamed for that other world leaders are not being blamed for . I have a relative who lives in the U.S. and she is talking about unemployment and long food lines there also and i know that you are all aware of it because you watch news and read.
