Speculation in a public forum on such a tragedy in our small community is not warranted. I suggest we join in public expressions of sympathy and leave the frivolous speculation for private discussions.
Still waiting for a journalist to put Philip Davis front & center with a question as to his claims that put the spotlight on this lady and had her dragged around under arrest. Claims that have been at long last proven unfounded and false... why let him off the hook? What they scared of?
They aren't articles, they are regurgitations. An article actually describes a situation, its potential impact on the local area/reader, and contributing factors... it gives insight and coloration on a situation, system or thing.... this, this was just an ad and a blurb. Oh what i would give for Larry Smith level journalism.
Can personally confirm that Ministry of Works enforcement is non-existent, had two separate, blatant violations in my immediate vicinity, one quite dangerous, the MOW officers didnt want to be bothered, had to go there 3 times to get one to finally scribble down my complaint on scrap paper.. no formal logging into any computerized system to enable follow-up, just pathetic and laughable. Needless to say both projects finished building despite the piece of 'cease & desist' yellow paper one guy came out and stuck on it after it was already completed. They're useless and do not take their role seriously..... tell you what though, I'm now going to do whatever the hell I want on my properties, come say something to me....
One word: loquacious. Dude is “Director of Admin” for a one-airplane “airline”. He on to something though, best bring foreigners in to try make something happen because the government is doing the exact opposite, wilfully ignoring the needs of the local aviation sector. The responsible minister has his own hands in the pot behind the scenes while he appoints a dancing jokester to take photos and babble into microphones. All while they trample the sector to shreds…. its a shame, but no surprise.
Let me give my best Birdie impression before she rolls up: "Oh tank you tank you most honorable and wurdy Prime minister, the PLP has always been the party to salve the wounds of the downtrodden, unlike them other people who only sing and dance at the behest of the white people"
of course we will never question why the ignorant & downtrodden seem to be 10 times greater every time y'all on the scene..... and why we haven't moved from clamoring for alms to gaining skills and carving out a piece of the local economy for ourselves.... while the MPs somehow end up with all the land, business shares, and wealth.... yinna gatta stop looking for handouts and get off your arses and work smart!
