I find it interesting that you view the circumstances of the illegal immigrant's existence here, compare it to what awaits them in Haiti, basically state "well isn't it slightly preferable here?", as if once the rationale of their migration is established, we have no choice but to accommodate them. When you awake to a noise at 3am, see the wild-eyed miscreant rifling through your possessions and contemplating your exposed flesh, do you consider the extenuating circumstances that led him to this sorry state? Do you invite him to take of your plenty? The problem I see with this holier than thou talk from the local stable of intellectuals is this situation lacks immediacy & relevance for them, they do not wait behind a queue of 100 non-Bahamians for medical attention. They do not awaken to swine being chased through their back yards by a machete wielding unknown who emerges from the bushes, they sip their espressos and write bleeding heart sht until one day the blade is at their throats. Wishy washy terms like "it's sad" and "wouldn't it be better" show how distanced from reality you are. This is not a measured migration of regionals bringing their skills and names to intermingle over decades, as has happened since the 1700s, this is an overwhelming invasion of desperate, undisciplined, unrefined, uneducated people, who are not your friends. I fear you will realize that too late.
Further, what knucklehead authorized these benches erected squarely in front of the Western horizon at every lookout spot set aside for vehicles to park and take in the view? Who gave this chap the right to place his blaring "Oasis furniture" foolishness in front of the public view... I've a mind to tear them down......let them stick to the makeshift, shabbily erected faux bus stops strewn about the town...typical local government, zero pride, zero standard.
Bahamasair? Big man talk airline! The Bahamas Government long supported a system of international airline subsidy and exemption, Delta, AA, United, exempting them from fees, taxes etc. presumably expecting to reap the rewards of a guaranteed flow of eager tourists. Bahamasair subsidies pale in comparison, and in fact when compared to what is poured into local government entities such as BPL with zero international competition, are minimal (not excusing or justifying their existence, btw, just pointing it out)
Tal, SHET your stoopid arse man. Go read the regulations and talk to people in aviation who know what goin on, you goin by the talks the dude who barkin to the public runnin on with, thats makes you foolish.....
Look, Hartnell, try some journalism. Here let me help you, the regulations of the land are public record, peruse the following to see if there is ANY language indicating that someone's AOC certification remains valid unless revoked, utter malarchy!
