And neither does Perry Christie nor Brave Davis, they cannot give a straight answer on their personal involvement in Bahamas Petroleum Company.

Who benefits from this article? Only the PLP.

If memory serves me right, there were a whole bunch of candidates from the plp, fnm, dna and others who had very little money, and since money talks and everything else walks, cherry-picking the next all for me baby MP takes precedence over someone who is genuinely empathic towards others and their country.

The PLP must be really desperate to accused Greg Gomez of false claims. How many of their cabinet ministers have disclosed erroneous assets declarations on nomination day? It takes a lot brass to accuse a guy of doing what your party has previously done.

What the former Prime Minister has done for North Abaco is truly unbelievable. This current Prime Minister and his parliamentary colleagues can see, touch and feel the good work of the former Prime Minister for themselves. If the current Prime Minister truly believes in Bahamians, he should have an historic cabinet meeting in his constituency and South Andros so that their constituents and the Bahamian people could see, touch and feel what they have done with their money.

Slavery is not a sin in God’s Eyes but how they were treated was. Ancient and Modern day slavery will always be a civil rights issue. I too agree with Aaron Green’s comments that Bishop Hall needs to focus on the behavior of all sexually active people as opposed to just one group. Very well said on her behalf. In this country, we have too many hypocritical bible-based self-proclaimed Christians who just love to throw stones at sinners. With that being said, let me be clear that I do not support homosexuality or the many forms of fornications because it is a sin not a civil rights issue. Peace.

I don't support the many forms of gambling but I would take Robert Sands remarks one step further by saying that the majority of Bahamians lack self-discipline period.

Well said and well written, mynameis. 2002 would be remembered as one of the most embarrassing moments in the history of the commonwealth of the Bahamas. The PLP’s rejoice with ignorance and pride while Bahamians everywhere were confused, angry and ashamed. PM Christie could create all the excuses in the world to defend his hypocrisy decision for "blocking" the 2002 referendum. Truth to be told, Perry Christie and his PLP’s colleagues all voted for the referendum in the House of Assembly and upon consultation with Paul Adderley and co, he and his PLP’s colleagues received their marching orders to destroy Hubert Ingraham’s referendum.
