All of the above mentioned steps sound logical only to disciplined people but they are being posted for people with single digit I.Q.'s with grade D grades and only understand partying, baby making, guns, drugs, remy and nails, so seriously 🤔🤨
I suppose the last 40+ years of do nothing governments is al minnis's fault right. Which one of the past P.M.'s have had to deal with something of this magnitude ??? But I guess it's just easier to make it political while you and yours are dying from stupidity, right !!!
Yes the prevalence of Covid infections jumped dramatically after borders were reopened but lets look at this situation logically, 98% of Bahamians have a smart phone and 98% of those smart phones have " whatsapp" on it being used everyday along with the "Facebook" app to which the view and post to daily therefore the Bahamians who traveled to the hottest Covid spot (Florida) in the U.S.A. , did so willingly and knowingly for shopping expeditions whilst also importing the covid 19 virus. This action was a shining example of sheer stupidity and lunacy on the part of the travelers. I don't recall "Da Gummamint" forcing anyone onto aircraft and giving them money to go to Florida to be infected ! Bahamians need to start taking responsibilty for their own stupid thoughtless decisions and stop blaming " da gummamint " for acting like the beast Jesus Christ rode on the back of into Nazareth !!!
As usual, Lord Mitchel stands and spews negative rhetoric about the government not celebrating Emancipation Day whilst recognizing that the country is under a never before seen or experienced health pandemic and suggesting the P.M. should address the country on the momentous occassion but ignoring the fact that the very same citizens he claims to stand for are the very ones who have put the country in the position it is in now. Pray tell, what exactly is he supposed to say to people who clearly do not listen or understand that they are directly responsible for this second lockdown ? Instead of being so critical for a brownie point, why didn't he make positive suggestions prior to lockdown or get up to the podium he so loves and deliver an encouraging and positive speech about how we should safely proceed during this crippling pandemic !!!
I hope and pray that when our country reopens the borders and allows international flights again, we don't drop the ball again concerning returning residents being allowed to mix and mingle freely like the last set of virus carriers. When residents decide that they just have to travel to hotspots just to get into Walmart then they should be informed that they will be quarantined for 14 days at a government run medical facility and everything they purchase and bring back will be thoroughly sanatized regardless of what it is or resulting damage all at their OWN expense which they must prove they can pay upfront on arrival back here !!!
The main and principal reason this virus is spreading like this is simply because Bahamians ARE NOT following safety protocols right in front of our illustrious police force with immunity because they know they will NOT be made to face the consequences for their bold, brazen sheer stupidity coupled with the fact that if the police actually enforce the law, then the courts give you a tongue lashing and send you back into the streets to carry on as before. It is this loose, party all the time society we dwell in is what's causing this virulent spread of this fatal disease.
There really should be huge fines for price gouging along with business license suspensions for 3 months with the requirement of having to pay their staff full salary while closed and with these laws enforced I am sure they would only have to prosecute 2-3 business owners max to get everyone in line with the law !!!
