Well there you go Fred Smith mister Haitian advocate, if your fellow Haitians cannot afford the fees etc as you have outlined, then YOU need to step up to the plate and pay for them out of your pocket thereby displaying how 'humane' you are for your fellow countrymen. Because at the rate of assinity that you are rapidly approaching, the next stupid statement you are going to utter is that the Bahamian government should just grant everyone Bahamian citizenship at the cost of the Bahamian population then we have to house, feed, educate and employ them, again at the cost of Bahamians. If they don't like ehat's going on here in the Bahamas then they can exercise their only right as illegal immigrants and that is the right to pack their asses up and leave !!!
The graduation regalia issues remind me of the high school graduations where the dangerously dumb students jinx their parents/guardians to spend 'ginormous' amounts of money to fund their Royal regalia along with chauffer driven Rolls Royce limos even though these kids only got A's in baby making, gun use and drug dealing. But I guess looking the part makes more sense than actually doing the part !
This is the only time that I fully agree with Fred Mitchell concerning the stance the Government has to take concerning illegal Immigrants and if Fred Smith does not like the outcome then he can exercise HIS right to pack his ass up and go back to Haiti where he is from !!!
The easiest way to control employing illegal immigrants is to simply hit employers of this type with massive 10,000+ dollar fines and watch how fast Bahamians will get jobs because of all the vacancies. It is all about the Almighty Dollar and when employers see that it is cheaper to hire real Bahamians as opposed to getting fined $10,000 per illegal then things will start to move forward in our favour. We have to blame greedy employers for this economical mess we are in !
