BEWU is the highest paid union in the country. Those members who are wise should seek investment opportunities because many of them will never have it so good again in this life time.

The Treasures Bahamas group principles have learned art of trying to take what is not their own. White collar crime is truly alive. I am not surprised that PLP's are involved. They have learned well from the Baha Mar bankruptcy scandal and are trying these same tactics in the jewerly sector. Not good Bahamas. The chinese have money and can afford to defend themselves in court weather it be here or in the states..

We Bahamians aint into no crowdfunding, we into buying numbers, if Island duck, FML, Island game and Chances them aint promoting it. We aint checking for it.

This is an great idea Mr: Bowe....Think tanks like your self others in the financial service industry should get together and make it a reality instead of giving this idea to the press. Next thing you know Cayman and Bermuda steals this tax arbitrage and neutrality idea and implement it before the Bahamas. Remember the captive insurance industry.

It this trend continues. Bahamians will be replaced as the majority population because of gentrification. New providence will be too upscale for many of us to afford to live on.

"Mrs Wallace-Whitfield said that to become a licensed real estate agent in The Bahamas requires multiple examinations and a “sponsorship” from one of the licensed firms for at least three months, so that newcomers become accustomed to how the real estate business actually works"**Strong*

This is one sector that is appears reserved for the connected lighter hue persons of our society. I often wonder if there is some government policy to mandate this. The licensed firms look out for their own.

Developers like Mr Kinsale are up scale. They only develope for the rich and powerfull. What Nassau needs now is developer's who can compete with Arawak homes now that the present administration is only selling lots and not in the bussiness of building houses. Who is looking out for the average Bahamian, the small man, and future generations of our many young people.when it comes to affordable housing. The Bahamas needs developers who can buy up the many abandoned houses that are situated in many of the subdivisions across new providence, many of them are bank reoposessed , renovate or demolish the structures and build new affordable homes for the average young person.just starting out.
