Mr Carey is on the right track. Every Bahamian business sector needs to prepare. Cryto curencies are sweeping the world. Its just a matter of time before it reaches the Bahamas. If not Bitcoin then another version, maybe a Bahamain crytocurency. In the far east retailers have already began to accept Bitcoin for purchases. Cryto ATM machines are becoming common place. Regulation has started in the far east and a limited amount of exchanges are beginning to trade this and other cryto currency. This year.a number of Hedge funds have seen the wisdom and are adding Bitcoin to ther portfolios. Nicola Tesla correctly predicted the invention of the cell phone from 1926 and today our live would not be the same with out one.(See attachment) Crypto currencies are going to revolutionize the way people use money. Someday cash will be useless. The crypto Idea has been birth. Their will be growing pains, bubbles. crashes and hacks but just like every thing new, human ingenuity will solve them all and the cryto currency system will be perfected in every modern country once govenrments get on board.

Hind sight is like a promise, Just a comfort to a fool. Did not the auto biography of men Mugabe, Castro, Saddam, Kadafy, Pinochet, and Chavez teach you anything Mr PGC. It seams not because power is so sweet it blinds one to the true realities of so many of the citizens you swore to give good representation to. Your leadership has caused this country to fall behind in so many crucial areas. You ran this country like a ponzi scheme, enriching the few croonies while the masses suffer. May the likes of the PLP never see the reigns of power again.

What our government needs to do is legalize medical marijuanna for the general population. There are a host of medical conditions such as siezures and chronic pain that can be treated with no side effects thus reducing the the opioid addiction rate. In addition licenses should be given to a limited number of stake holders to sell marijuana products from areas designated marijuana retreats zones where users can congregate to legaly purchase the products. Such retreats zones should be established on every island and marketed in the tourism arena. The Bahamas need to get with the time in this area before we are left behind by our carribean competition.

The new economy with online shopping also called the "amazon effect" is rendering the old way of doing business obsolete. Tourist are now offered an experience on board cruise ships which not only includes entertainment and gaming but also shopping. Many of the visitors downtown only come off the ships for the walking exercise. Retailers on bay must begin to put their inventory online or go the way of the shops east of east street.
