The Bahamas must tap into its best minds worldwide to expand its creative economy..Bahamains around the world should be given incentives with the ease of doing business and allowed to partner with foreign nationals and companies with offers of equity stakes in companies that are going to modernize our economy and introduce technology such as blockchain. large communications companies like BTC and Aliv must constantly improve our technology infrastructure and keep it on the cutting edge so that costly upgrades will be avoided when new products are released. local companies in the technological areas should at this stage of the development cycle be seeking to partner with international tech giants to transfom the Bahamas.and further expand the economy.
On the Demand side, when Bahamians see what is happening in other countries, they will demand the latest and whoever is providing the innovative service or product locally will get the new business. Local ICO's will be critical to the success of these new businesses because they will be the monetary currency that can function with the new innovations as we move to a cashless society. Our chances of transformation are much better because of the passage of the Commercial Enterprises Bill and the incentives it provides.
Mitchell and Brave them need to just sit small for the next for years and pray for forgiveness for messing up this country and stop reminding people of the mess every time they ope their mouth an always remember that Lies always backfires.because the electorate has awoken.
Oh yes even the blind can see that Conflict of interest is the moral of this article. No member of the motor dealers association should have been a part of the trip. Only independent persons with knowledge of the industry who would be impartial to all who sell cars locally including the many sellers who are not apart of the association..Mr: Albury knows that the major segment of his companies sales is the brand new vehicles he imports so why would he recommending anything positive that would help used car importers. and further cause a decrease in his new car sales. Why would he want to help the smaller portion of his company pie ?(used cars sales) With the way the association have been complaining over the years the recommendations from this committee will be hitting the small man in the pocket to the tune of thousands of dollars.
The one recommendation i would like to see from any delegation findings is the adoption and setting of very stringent fuel efficiency standards in the Bahamas comparable to Japan in the short term and a long term recommendation to go green with 100% electrical vehicles by 2030. Most of us are aware of electrical cars but Tesla is now building electrical 16 wheeler Rigs thus proving that Battery powered vehicles can be produced of any size.
If The United states is to go on into the future as a great nation, it must shed the racial stereotype and views of the past century. Trump views sadly reflect the views of many far right citizens of that country. Racism today may not be as open and blatant as in the past but it is still being expounded in decision makings from the board room to the cops on the streets. On this the very day we salute the great works of MLK we are constantly reminded that progress made so far is but a drop in the bucket and one of his quotes remain relevent today and forever and it goes like this "Our scientific power has outrun our spiritual power. We have guided missiles and miss guided men " "All men are created equal"

Now we know for sure that Fred Smith is a mental patient and belongs in sandilands. Haitian are a problem in every country they migrate to . The US wants to get rid of them. The Dominican Republic has passed legislation to deport them, In Mexico, many of them are stranded at the Border, They have stripped their land of all the quality trees, no wonder earthquakes and torrential rains cause so much damage. Some of them practice religions that worship the devil, now why would we want a little Haiti here. Our athorities have already discovered off carmichael road areas where there is whole scale destruction of the pine forest for the production of charcoal for shipment to Haiti. Haitians by their mindset have shown that they have practices that are destructive to the Bahamian environment..The Dominicans destroy our marine resources while the Haitians destroy our land resources. All shanty towns should be bulldozed no matter where it is.The Bahamas does not need an increase in Haitian identity to the detriment of our own cultural identy. That would send a confusing message to our Bahamian children and the world.about our future.Put an end and roll back the Haitianization of of this country. Smithy boy we are not fools like you.
