smart countries pay for smart people to come to these countries... all that going to happen, people pay one time to gain some time to look for better options.
One question might be allowed: if they can't make money on 1100 (or so) hotel rooms, how will they make money on only 400 rooms (and after spending 800M)... maybe the problem is related to bad infrastructure and lack of airport/connections... eh?

NO hope.... just do the math:
the new "project" is sold at about the same amount that the government paid to the Chinese after Dorian PLUS their operational expenses since 2020....
so in other words: the Grand Lucayan Hotel is completely worthless. The purpose of the "new" deal is just to get rid of it and the operational cost.
